EAT RIGHT FOR YOUR TYPE

Dr. Peter J. D'Adamo and Catherine Whitney have written an interesting book that identifies foods leading to weight gain and other chronic symptoms like allergies. Based on blood type, certain foods are considered beneficial, some neutral, and others should be avoided. More research studies are needed to confirm the validity, but it is a good place to start. The recommended foods to avoid are consistent with high-risk allergy foods and foods that increase pain. Since its difficult to change dietary habits, make changes slowly. You'll be more likely to make lasting changes. I have recommended this book to people I work with for weight management and have seen good results. The Red Cross will do a blood type for under $20.00. Your can buy “Eat Right For Your Type” from bookstores, health food stores, and through Amazon.com.
